MemoMind One September Update: Smarter AI, Fewer Bugs

AI Improvements
AI Conversations Now Follow Your Language Setting
For an AI assistant, hearing the words is only half the job — it also has to know which language you're speaking. Previously, MemoMind One's speech recognition could default toward Chinese even when the app was set to another language.
That's fixed. AI conversation now runs on FunASR's multilingual model, an open-source speech recognition engine built to handle dozens of languages and switch between them without manual toggling. Combined with tighter language-preference syncing from the app, recognition now follows what you've actually selected — not what the system assumes.
What this means: if you use MemoMind One in English, French, or another supported language, AI conversations should stay consistent with that setting instead of drifting back to Chinese.
AI Summaries Now Available Across Recording, Translation, and Captions
AI summaries first launched in Recording, where a conversation could be captured and turned into something easier to review later.
But recording isn't the only time you may want a summary.
You might be following a conversation through live captions, or using translation while speaking with someone in another language. These moments contain just as much information worth keeping.
This update brings the same summary capability to all three:

Everyday Experience Improvements
Call Captions Are Here
Call captions are now available on MemoMind One, turning spoken conversations into real-time text right in your field of view. We've also refined the caption prompt style and horizontal scrolling for smoother reading, and fixed an issue where captions would not automatically resume transcribing after answering an incoming call.
Better Far-Field Pickup in Translation
Translation works best when it hears you clearly — even from across the table. This update improves far-field audio pickup in Translator mode, so speech recognition is more reliable in noisy environments and at greater distances. We've also fixed a screen freezing issue that could occur when switching languages or pickup modes during translation.
What this means: conversations in another language flow more smoothly, with fewer interruptions and more accurate recognition.
Memo Lab Gets a Plugin Platform
Memo Lab now includes a plugin platform, with several mini games available at launch. You can launch them from your phone and see results returned directly on the glasses. We've also optimized the visuals, exit screen clearing, and resource cleanup for a cleaner experience.
Scheduling: Reminders That Land at the Right Time
A schedule only helps if it reaches you at the right moment. This update tightens reminder timing, cleans up how reminders display on the HUD, and improves calendar sync with your phone — so a meeting alert or daily reminder shows up when it should, not seconds late or out of sync.
Navigation Display Fixes
Smart glasses navigation should mean you never pull out your phone for directions. This update fixes several display bugs that showed up during calls, over prompt overlays, and when exiting navigation — plus clearer rendering for remaining time, ETA, map icons, and the top info bar.
Teleprompter: Cleaner Layouts, Fewer Interruptions
Built for presentations, recordings, and live broadcasts, the teleprompter gets refined single- and double-column layouts, smoother keyword-based page turns, and better transcript display. We also fixed text tearing, font-size jump glitches, and swipe issues that could happen when a call came in mid-session.
Notifications: Less Clutter, No Stale Alerts
Old notifications shouldn't linger. This update adds notification clearing and automatic cleanup, and fixes an issue where outdated notifications could reappear after a Bluetooth reconnect — so what you see on the HUD reflects what's actually current.
Weather at a Glance
Small conveniences add up. This update improves how current conditions and forecasts display and sync on MemoMind One, so weather is there when you check it — no extra taps.
